Community Support

Foundations & Communities

We support remote communities and disadvantaged children. A percentage of our profits is donated to the foundation to help fund their programs.
Principle — community
Supporting Artisan Families

Section 01

Supporting Artisan Families

Our commitment to community extends beyond the foundation. When artisans earn fair wages, the benefits ripple outward — families gain stability, children stay in school, and neighborhoods grow stronger.

We track the real-world impact of our partnerships. In communities where we have worked for more than three years, school enrollment among artisan households has risen by over 30%, and access to basic healthcare has nearly doubled.

We see our role not just as a buyer of handmade goods, but as a long-term partner invested in the wellbeing of every household behind every product we sell.

Women in Moroccan Craft

Section 02

Women in Moroccan Craft

More than 60% of our artisan partners are women — many of them heads of household in rural villages where formal employment is scarce. Craft is not a side income for these women; it is the foundation of their economic independence.

We invest in female-led cooperatives across the Souss-Massa, Marrakech-Safi, and Fès-Meknès regions, providing materials, market access, and business training that would otherwise be out of reach.

Many of these women are the keepers of techniques — Amazigh weaving patterns, Fassi embroidery, tadelakt plastering — that are passed from mother to daughter. Supporting them is how these traditions survive.

Section 03

Fiers & Forts Foundation

Secular and non-political, the Fiers & Forts (Prouds & Strongs) Center fights exclusion in remote communities by helping disadvantaged children overcome inequality.

When you work with us, a percentage of our profits goes directly to the F&F center — giving children the tools they need to regain confidence and succeed in life.

The center, which currently houses more than 80 children, provides:

  • A loving, safe home
  • A quality education
  • Access to medical and dental care
  • A healthy diet and exposure to sustainable farming
  • Tools for higher education or vocational training
  • Development of confidence and independence
